Think and Live Biblically

Biblical truth lived out in real life and real relationships

Every person is being formed by what they believe, value, and practice. 17:6 helps people and churches develop a Biblical Perspective and practice Kingdom Values so that truth shapes everyday life.

Biblical Perspective

Learning to see life from God's point of view.

Biblical Perspective is the ability to view life and the situations we face from God's angle as shown in the Bible. It helps people connect Scripture to their identity, relationships, decisions, priorities, work, leadership, and response to pressure.

The goal is not simply to know more. It is to see more clearly so that we can choose God's ways in everyday life.

Kingdom Values

Learning to value what God values.

People live according to what they value. Jesus made this clear in Matthew 6:21: "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." What we treasure sets the direction of our hearts and lives.

Kingdom Values shape how we treat God, how we treat people, and how we carry responsibility. They become visible through the choices we make and the way we relate to one another.

Values are caught as well as taught.

Jesus did more than give His disciples information. He shared His life with them, showed them how to love and serve, and then called them to do the same. Biblical values are formed through teaching, apprenticeship, relationship, practice, correction, and time.

That is why relationships are not an added benefit of 17:6. They are part of how formation happens.

A life-changing church culture.

A life-changing church aligns its leaders, relationships, ministries, activities, and organizational choices to help people think and live biblically. Leaders model the values. People see biblical truth practiced. Relationships create room for honesty, encouragement, correction, service, and growth.

Over time, a culture develops that reflects what the Bible teaches, helps newer believers understand the Christian life, and honors Christ in practical ways.
