17:6 Network

About

Churches helping churches become life-changing

17:6 is a relational network of churches working together to help people think and live biblically, develop faithful leaders, and multiply life-changing churches.

Who We Are

We actually know one another.

Our churches share a common mission, biblical convictions, relational values, and a commitment to developing people. We learn from one another, support one another, develop leaders together, and combine our strengths to advance God's Kingdom.

This is more than a pastors' association or a collection of programs. We show up for one another. When one church faces a challenge, leaders from other churches can offer perspective. When a church sends or plants, others can help.

Why We Exist

Biblical truth should shape the whole of life.

We believe biblical truth is meant to change more than what people know. It should transform how they see, who they become, and how they live.

17:6 equips leaders and churches to cultivate environments where truth is taught, modeled, practiced, and reinforced through relationships. The goal is not information alone, but people who increasingly think, speak, relate, lead, and live like Jesus.

Our Vision

Life-changing churches multiplying throughout the world.

We equip and resource leaders to develop and multiply life-changing churches, churches where people gain Biblical Perspective, practice Kingdom Values, grow in character, develop as leaders, and help others do the same.

Our Story

A heritage of developing and sending leaders.

  1. Late 1970s

Harold Bullock begins Hope Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Hope develops into a training center, forming and sending leaders who plant churches and ministries throughout the United States and beyond.

  2. 2005

Several pastors trained in Fort Worth and sent to other cities begin exploring how their churches could work together, encouraging one another, sharing resources, and developing leaders.

  3. 2012

Randy Lanthripe helps lead the developing network toward greater clarity and structure.

  4. January 2015

The shared vision and mission are formalized, and 17:6 Network officially launches.

  5. Today

The network continues to develop people, support pastors, strengthen churches, and prepare leaders for the future.

  6. We are not trying to preserve a personality or recreate the past. We are stewarding a biblical heritage and passing it faithfully from one generation to the next.

How We Work Together

Five ways the network carries the work forward.

  • Form people through biblical teaching, practical experience, coaching, and relationships.
  • Develop leaders in knowledge, character, and skill.
  • Support pastors through trusted relationships, collaboration, and shared wisdom.
  • Equip churches with training, curriculum, events, and practical resources.
  • Multiply the impact by developing people who develop others and churches that help churches.
